Investment and acquisition criteria

 

AGS partners with world-class investors and family offices to invest in high quality but undervalued or underperforming companies.  Acting as, or in collaboration with, the lead shareholder, we prefer to work collaboratively with management teams and boards to help companies execute strategic, governance and operational initiatives designed to drive long-term sustainable earnings growth for the benefit of all shareholders.   


Key strategic areas of focus include sales growth and recurrence, digital transformation, sustainability, operational excellence, strategic repositioning and capital allocation.  AGS seeks opportunities with a significant margin of safety and where its key areas of focus can provide extraordinary shareholder returns.  We typically see these features in acquisitions that range from $20m to $250m of enterprise value.


We focus on B2B businesses that provide services which are essential or mandatory, often subject to regulation, reputational assurance and characterized by consistency in demand.  We are specifically focused on:
